I think it's fair to say there are really only 3 serious candidates for MVP.

Kirill Kaprizov
- leads the team with 90 points, 27 more than next best
- leads the team with 42 goals, 12 more than 2nd best
- is 10th in goals and 6th in GPG leaguewide
- is 12th in points and 10th in PPG leaguewide
- 3rd in +/- on the team

Brock Faber
- leads all defenseman on the team in points, 20 more than the next best
- is 5th overall in team scoring, and 30th in defenseman scoring leaguewide.
- averages the most time on ice, 2 more minutes than the next highest.
- averages the 6th highest time on ice leaguewide
- 2nd in blocked shots on the team
- one of only 2 players on the team to not miss a single game.

Joel Eriksson Ek
- 2nd on the team in goals, and 3rd in points
- a +18, 2nd highest on the team and 8 more than 3rd place
- 2nd most hits on the team.
- One of the best two way forwards in the league, has finished top 10 in selke voting the last 3 seasons, and will likely do it again this year.

HM to Jonas Brodin who despite only playing 58 games, remains 2nd in defenseman scoring, is +20 which still leads the team, and right behind Faber in blocked shots.

Though Brodin has been better, just missed a bunch of games. They'd probably be making the playoffs if he didn't.

It’s a three way split and you picked the right three for me. Faber has the consistency, if JEE had been fully healthy he would be right there, but is third to me. Kap had the injured start but has been so good in the second half it’s hard to say anyone but him.

Boldy and Brodin are the HMs who would also be right there if not for injury. Rossi deserves an HM for consistency too, but the others are more difference makers at the moment.

Yeah in retrospect I should have seen this being lopsided. Thought maybe Faber would have a case with how well he's doing with one of the hardest workloads, in addition to Kap missing games.

If it had been 2 months ago, the results would have been mostly the same but I bet Wild fans would have been more split. Kap is at the top of his game though.
