Well only if every other team for whatever reason got to bring their NHLers, but even so probably not considering the host nation is going to be icing a roster of guys who wouldn't even make NCAA Division 3 rosters.

right

china team will have many khlers

Liska no way. Skalicky is maybe, I’d rather go young guys. Perhaps Chromiak if he is in Trencin next season instead of Ontario

Finland
you gotta admit, finland would be favorites with that roster

I wont say favourites but I have to admit, it would be a once of a lifetime chance for Finland to win olympic gold. The chances have never been better. The tournament would be rather even with top teams and swiss and germans also had a slightly better chances than usual. But all in all the tournament without nhl-players would be a huge disappointment.

I feel like Finland could win Gold at either version of the Olympics.. NHLers or Non NHLers... They are well setup!

Wright should be on Canada without NHLers Bedard is a stretch since he’s a year younger but I think Wright could be there for sure he’d be 18 at the time of the tournament

If the NHLers don’t go I hope Canada sends a younger team with more college and junior guys rather than washed up Euro guys

canada took silver in 1994 and bronze in 2018 with "washed up euro guys"
I know I’d just rather see younger skill guys there, think it’d be more entertaining. Kinda like when Russia sent there u20 team to that mens tournament last year and won the gold

the problem is that i dont think AHL, NCAA and CHL will let go of players if NHL does not do it. No na players at all.

In that case, i would probaly go with:

Adam Tambellini - Jordan Weal - Max Véronneau
Ryan Spooner - Corban Knight - Tyler Gravoac
Brendan Leipsic - Daniel Audette - Taylor Beck
Daniel Winnik - Patrice Cormier - Jake Virtanen
Philippe Maillet, Jayce Hawryluk

John Gilmour - Maxim Noreau
Eric Gelinas - Mat Robinson
Trevor Murhpy - Stefan Elliott
Joe Morrow - Alex Grant

Matt Tomkins
Eddie Pasquale
Justin Pogge

Every single one of these players are very good in their european league. Lots of skill.

I love the looks of this team.krejci and Frolik in Europe could be a godsend.

Agree with jiricek.

Why no bartosak?

I'd like to see d. Kase included along with blumel.

I write the first players that comes to my mind. There are others like D.Kaše, Blumel, Smejkal, Zohorna's, Hanzl, Lenc, Krejčík, Jordán, Mašín, Bartošák.. We have some options in Europe.

And I meant Matěj Stránský in that lineup, but Šimon isn't playing bad either.

You were really close in predicting our next EHT team!
