Listening to NHL radio yesterday. They stated the repayments to the owners is about finished.
The year following should see a 5 to 7 million dollar bump in the cap.
They said revenues in many areas are rising.
Also noted teams are trying to give term to players now while the cap is stagnant to offer more flexibility when the increases start.
