Thanks for that. I expect a real hodgepodge on the U.S. team. Very skeptical there will be very much NHL talent of note. Mostly European based players.

This is what latvian member in Latvian thread wrote - In the meantime, some optimistic news from the federation: On May 15th USA&Canada are organizing a charter flight for their teams from New York, Latvia has reserved 5 spots on the plane.

Interesting. I hope USA Hockey can attract some NHL talent. There will be plenty to choose from. For instance, would love to see the Hughes brothers, etc.

Probably a little too optimistic but we shall see:

Goalies
One of John Gibson or Thatcher Demko (I doubt both will go)
NHL Backup/AHL Starter or European Goalie
College Goalie

Defence
Mikey Anderson
Adam Fox
Cam Fowler
Noah Hanifin
Quinn Hughes
Ryan Lindgren
K'Andre Miller
Jacob Trouba (Yes....lots of Rangers)

Forwards
Brock Boeser
Alex DeBrincat
Ryan Donato
Christian Dvorak
Joel Farabee
Johnny Gaudreau (not sure about this one..heard he is getting married)
Jack Hughes
Patrick Kane (I doubt he wants to go again but we'll see)
Clayton Keller
Dylan Larkin (not sure about the severity of his injury)
Casey Mittelstadt
Troy Terry
Colin White
Trevor Zegras (I hope)

I doubt we'll see an inspiring roster, but it could be interesting at least. I imagine we'll see a lot of young guys, even more than normal, playing prominent roles.

We also have a lot of younger, up-and-coming goalies, so it's possible we see one of them step up and play to try and cement an Olympic roster spot.

Just checked USA Hockey website and didn't realize Chris Drury is the Team USA GM. With everything going on with the Rangers, is that still the case?

And with two weeks before the tournament is scheduled to start, haven't seen any mention of a USA roster.

I was bored so here is my realistic prediction for your team:

Miller - Norris - Boeser
Farabee - Hughes - Labanc
Keller - Dvorak - Schmaltz
Boucher* - White - Roslovic
Pinto

Anderson - Fox
Miller - Roy
Butcher - Menell*
Sameuelsson

Demko
Petersen

* Reid Boucher and Brennan Menell from the KHL

EDIT: Slight edit after seeing the Labanc news and that Dallas still got a PO chance
EDIT2:Larkin and Hanifin out Dvorak and Butcher in
