Ferraro getting this nod is huge, team canada management uses this tournament for lots of the training camp invites for the olympics also. So this could be a stepping stone to a olympic invite if he continues his play going into next season.

Noticed a lot of weird things just looking at the box scores:

Balcers didn't make LAT. That makes me sad, but hopefully he uses that as fuel for next season.

Barabanov played 8:00min. Meanwhile Provorov played 31:00min on 51 shifts. Is that real?

Owen Power played 7:00min for Team CAN.

Balcers didn't go because he's a free agent. No snub, I'm sure he would be picked otherwise.
Balcers didn’t go because of a shoulder issue.

Barabanov played way more, than 8 min for sure. This IIHF statistics is shit.
