I'm enjoying the competing reporting of "gotta be side deals happening" vs. "report: no side deals."

This has been incredibly bad, it’s gonna be a long, long seven years…..Guess I shouldn't have been surprised. Not impressed with ESPN. This is an epic shit show. Embarrasing debut.

Y’all are making this decision after one show? Not even a game broadcast? The show was cringy but isn’t it supposed to be?

It's basically college gameday.
They were going for guys who are recognizable ESPN faces, not necessarily guys who know their hockey well yet. Should adjust and improve with time. The thing that burns me the most is the lack of knowledge/preparation of the hosts. It's like they learned about the NHL coming back a couple weeks ago. This is not ESPNs first pony ride on the NHL. After the nightmare of the last time the NHL was on ESPN you'd think they'd do more to rebrand their network for the NHL. They failed. Hope they get better.
Their best guy that knows hockey is Linda Cohn. They were going for guys who are recognizable ESPN faces, not necessarily guys who know their hockey well yet. Should adjust and improve with time.
Funny...I have read there are many deals to be announced tomorrow and there are very few deals...seems @KallioWeHardlyKnewYe thoughts continue
