You obviously love him a lot.
We wish him the best.
Just know him when i first seen him 2 years ago and i happened to see him more when i was following another player. Thats all but good for someone to mention another good goalie or player. Gives more options as agents to follow and see for themselves and see a kid grow year by year. Me to wish him the best from where he comes out of.

Luke Coughlin**
List is good, Patterson and Lounsbury have taken big leaps in last year, I think Squires is right around top 3 for sure, Goyette would be my next guy to keep any eye on, i think he could be in the mix for top 3 come end of next year. Keifer in top 15 is questionable. Im not sold on him being a 1st round talent. especially with the offensive 05 talent . Mathieu Pelletier out of NB, playing prep this year should be top 10-15.

Where did he end up playing last year? I know Keifer very well and from what i see out of atlantic canada he probably sits at #2 right behind carter richardson out of NS but I was at the ACC over the weekend and Keifer outplayed him big time , He has always played on weak teams and its no different this year at OHA. He has a work ethic like no other and will be a top goalie come the draft. I can't comment on levesque kid as I can say i don't ive seen him play before.

Other take aways from the ACC was how deep NB 05 group is, Luke patterson stood out as a top forward as well as Lounsbury, Pelletier. MacKinnon on the backend is very mobile for a big guy. Flanagan was a rock in the nets and has developed quite well over the last 2 seasons. Luke Allen another top end guy who is playing away from NB (pelletier). The depth they had was far deeper and big reason why the won gold.

NFLD had some flashes but just didn't see anything that stood out. Strapp was a stud for them down the stretch. he brings size and skill but with improvement on skating he will take steps forward. Work ethic was high which is nice to see and they seemed to by into that rugged physical style. Well deserved bronze medal by them!

NS was a bit of a disappointment for me. Top guys like Peddle, MacPhee and Peddle were at times invincible. When the game got tough and they were down the team seemed to shut down and play individual style hockey. Henderson was good at times and plays with a swagger too. Pilgram-Edwards was good as well and Richardson in nets was very impressive, big frame, moves well.

PEI had ups and downs but i liked a lot from a few guys. Thompson in nets was great, faced a lot of rubber but you can see why he is praised. Squires was real good, highest skill level in the tournament and as he grows and matures a bit more he will only get better. Coughlin on the back end had flashes of a very mobile offence Dman but consistency was off. Jonah MacDonald had a great tournament as well, speed stands out with him.
Luke Allen? From NB? I don’t have him on my player list

My apologies Will Allen* yes from NB, Not an elite player but watched im at the POE on the weekend and he has some plus attributes that many scouts like. He is OHA top player and yes on a weak team i know.
Monctonian will be a good weekend to get a look at how some players are progressing to start the year!

Pretty early to make a list with more than 18 months before the draft. To identify potencial players to be picked in the first or second round is one thing but providing a list from 1 to 18 at this time. Not sure.

Jesus, this kid Nolan Fowler for the Valley Wildcats (Kings Mutual Major Bantam) had a 7 goal, 2 assist night against the ACCEL Physio to win the game 9-5 for the team. The kids already at 16 goals, 9 assists in just 10 games. He’s extremely small at 5’7” 105 pounds though.

Last years height and weight. He’s about 5’10-5’11 135-140 lbs. Talented player.

Valley plays a run and gun offence, 4F and 1D (not all the time) , very fun to watch! unless you're a goalie! Is he that big though? I had thought he was more around 5'8 120. Could be wrong though! however, i Don't see him as a high end 05 just yet.

Any thoughts on the talent from the Monctonian this past weekend. 24 Bantam AAA Teams in attendance.

From a PEI point of view, I liked Brett Arsenault + Luke Coughlin from Central Attack and Harrison Clements + Ross Campbell from Eastern Express.

What a final, OT 2 years in a row. Exciting tournament all around

Not including Quebec, I’d agree with Squires and Peddle as being the top 2 in this year. Peddle dominates physically. The top 3 though I’m going to throw out a kid named Burbidge in the valley that hasn’t been mentioned. Higher IQ then Squires but not quite as physical. I think his potential in the end is very high. Not sure why he was not on team ns this year though. Coughlin is also the real deal.

Squires and Peddle are extremely talented and i would agree they are top 2 right now in atlantic canada. I am a fan of burbidge as well, plays on a team who scores a ton so his stats may be slighlty higher then they should be but He has a great work ethich very smart with the puck and speed. Seems to matured over the last 12 months. I wouldnt say anyone has a higher IQ then Squires though. Couple other players that have impressed me so far this year is D -Nathan Mossey from Central Attack , F- Brad Nadeau from NorthWest Bulls , D- JP Boudreau from Dieppe Flyers and F- Justin gendron from Moncton. All players may be "off' the radar right now but will continue to rise over the next 12 months.

Yeh, I understand the point on Squires. I possibly overstepped there with Burbidge on being higher iq then squires. Both are smart players that make average players better around them. Peddle is the opposite in that he carries the show every shift like he’s on a mission.

Whats your take on 2005 relative to 04 and 06 overall?

Bradley Nadeau's IQ is off the charts...I would have him ahead of Squires, he plays a 200' game in a much stronger league. Martin , D man from Moncton is as complete a player as anyone in Altantic Canada, i have seem him play games with the Midget AAA Flyers and he looks great. Peddle is fantastic...but was more in line with the other talent at ACC and Monctonian when he faced good defenders. NS is a bit weaker than normall at the 05 level...but have some very highend 06's.
