G Braden Holt is an outside addition from the WHL.

D Luke Hughes is out with an injury. The other U18’s to not be on the roster are F Tyler Boucher, F Jeremy Wilmer, & F Caden Brown.

He was initially denied a visa again earlier this week for the tournament but they obviously worked something out for a 30 day window.

Do they think he might be a spy? That would be a cool premise for a movie - young Russian hockey player enters US on pretense of playing hockey, but sneaks around the nation's monuments spying for the KGB, but in the end he is killed by a hipcheck from Nicolas Cage because he is too much of a Russian p***y without size and weight.

Normal guess would be a criminal record of some sorts but he’s 16-17 years old. Not saying it’s impossible but at that age is it likely the kid himself did something bad enough to get flagged? Is it perhaps he’s associated with someone who is flagged & more of the target by the US government?

There’s plenty of time but will be interesting if it’s something that can be worked out going forward or not as clearly the US government as of right now does not want the kid in the country for an extended period of time that a normal work visa would grant.

So there are only 31 picks in the 1st round because of Arizona’s forfeiture?

I don’t know anything about Clarke, but the Flyers should trade everything to get him.
