Tverberg was added with 1 vote. Vote for who to add next.

1. Each poll will be open for 24 hours.

2. As we never have a consensus way as to which players are still considered prospects, we'll be using my way (at least for the first few polls). The player must be U24 and have less than 50 GP in the NHL. The "prospects" that are left off because of these rules are Joey Anderson, Brennan Menell, Adam Brooks, Joseph Duszak, Vladimir Bobylev, and Nickolai Chebykin. The player also must be either drafted by the team, or signed to an ELC to be considered a prospect. This leaves off a player like Keith Petruzzelli.

3. At this time we'll stick to the top-20, but if we want to go to 25 or 30 (I believe the Leafs have just over 30 guys that are eligible) I'll definitely go further.

Rankings:
1. Rasmus Sandin - 53.2%
2. Nick Robertson - 50.9%
3. Timothy Liljegren - 56.9%
4. Rodion Amirov - 90.6%
5. Topi Niemela - 62.1%
6. Matthew Knies - 45.4%
7. Roni Hirvonen - 61.1%
8. Mikhail Abramov - 47.5%
9. Mikko Kokkonen - 44.7%
10. Veeti Miettinen - 49.4%
11. Nick Abruzzese - 40.2%
12. Pontus Holmberg - 27.2% (tiebreaker - 57.1%)
13. Dmitri Ovchinnikov - 27.2% (tiebreaker - 42.9%)
14. Semyon Der-Arguchintsev - 29.6% (tiebreaker - 53.8%)

Kral, based on the tiny bit I've read about him. But I know little to nothing about the remaining guys.

The only guys I remeber seeing play on tv or online are Scott and Woll. And I didn't much like either of them. The goalie situation is not good.

Kral has proven the most to date out of the remaining options and deserves to go here. High floor prospect with #4 ceiling if he can improve his explosiveness. Raised his stock immensely this past season.

I voted Koster because I think he is one of the smartest players in the system. His IQ is special and it makes his ceiling very hard to limit. He'll likely be top pair with Minnesota this season and he was dominant as their #1D last Christmas in a short stint.

The two are close and they've closed the gap on Kokkonen, but are still a level below.

Kral. sneaky high floor on this kid. Maybe not as much as say Kokonnen. But he has a good chance at playing in the NHL at some point IMO. Maybe not a lengthy career, but he'll probably get at least a cup of coffee. I think he should get a real opportunity to play this year with the Marlies. He kinda flew under the the radar last year in the Czech league, but by all accounts he was outstanding over there. Hopefully he can continue that maturation.

I think Mac Hollowell is pretty underrated at this rate. Blows my mind I'm the only vote for him right now and he's below Steeves and Koster. I'm not sure why Kral is more highly rated either.

I'm going to predict a pretty big AHL year for him.

Because he sucks and hasn't progressed.

But Kral has?

Seems like a lot of recency bias going to a lot of players that haven't exactly developed or produced all that much either.
Weird post. Yes, Kral has progressed?

His last season was decisively more impressive considering he tied the U21 Czech league all-time points record for a D. Then went on to play 25+ mpg in the playoffs carrying his team as their #1D.

Finished the year in the top 4 on a brutal Marlies team after playing twice as many pro games as Hollowell.

Hollowell’s entire game has stagnated. Even Duszak made more strides defensively this last season, despite being considered worse in that area two years ago. I’d drop Hollowell for nothing at this point and I’ve watched the games.

Year long trends can make or break a prospect. Call it recency bias if you want.

I would agree with you. His play is better than his stats would indicate. He's a good skater, has a good amount of grit and he has some offensive flair to his game. He's also a step up on a player like Duszak defensively.

Sandin and Liljegren should be out of Hollowell's road this season, so hopefully he gets a bigger role on the team.

I think because he needs waivers a year from now, his stock drops a bit. Unless he kills it, I think he ends up like Adam Brooks or Joey Anderson and ends up on the wire, even with a pretty polished game.

About time for Kral, who I voted at 13.

Add Fusco. Steeves might be sneaky good. Koster and Voit in this tier.

I feel like the goalies should just have their own list.

Torn between Kral, Ahktyamov and Steeves, went Kral.

At this point, though, it’s a pretty major guessing game. All of these guys are real long shots to be legit NHLers (100+ games).

I don't have Hollowell in the the top 20 because he hasn't progressed enough. The good thing for him is the organization clearly loves him, and see him being an NHL player just from the information by Kloke. The fact they put Duszak in development camp indicates they believe Hollowell has established himself in the AHL.
