Steeves was added with 6 votes and Hollowell was added with 2. Vote for who to add next.

1. Each poll will be open for 24 hours.

2. As we never have a consensus way as to which players are still considered prospects, we'll be using my way (at least for the first few polls). The player must be U24 and have less than 50 GP in the NHL. The "prospects" that are left off because of these rules are Joey Anderson, Brennan Menell, Adam Brooks, Joseph Duszak, Vladimir Bobylev, and Nickolai Chebykin. The player also must be either drafted by the team, or signed to an ELC to be considered a prospect. This leaves off a player like Keith Petruzzelli.

3. At this time we'll stick to the top-20, but if we want to go to 25 or 30 (I believe the Leafs have just over 30 guys that are eligible) I'll definitely go further.

Rankings:
1. Rasmus Sandin - 53.2%
2. Nick Robertson - 50.9%
3. Timothy Liljegren - 56.9%
4. Rodion Amirov - 90.6%
5. Topi Niemela - 62.1%
6. Matthew Knies - 45.4%
7. Roni Hirvonen - 61.1%
8. Mikhail Abramov - 47.5%
9. Mikko Kokkonen - 44.7%
10. Veeti Miettinen - 49.4%
11. Nick Abruzzese - 40.2%
12. Pontus Holmberg - 27.2% (tiebreaker - 57.1%)
13. Dmitri Ovchinnikov - 27.2% (tiebreaker - 42.9%)

Tough choice between SDA, Gogolev, Kral, and Koster for me.

I think Kral has the best floor, and is the most likely to be a 100+ GP NHL player left. I think Gogolev and SDA have the highest upsides left, but they both have AHL tweener/KHL top-6 written all over them without showing more. Koster is the guy in the middle, and is just so fun to watch. Easily has proven the least, but it's not his fault a bunch of high picks also went to Minnesota. Gotta go with Kral.

I think I'm gonna go:
Kral
SDA
Gogolev
Koster

Add Tverberg.

Ovchinnikov shouldn't be 13th yet, all Holmberg voters could have SDA or ... above him.

Voted Kral over SDA. I just don’t think much of SDA, super skilled but underperforms and I don’t see how he ever makes it into the Leafs lineup.

Much like Abramov, I don't get the SDA love.

Guys like Ovchinnikov and Voit seem far more interesting.

I'm not really a "watch the games" type of guy, but I'd argue both of them are better than their basic production suggests.

Unless you play in pretty much SHL/Liiga/CZE, you don't have public access to underlying stats to get the full context of players. Production is a great measure (especially NHLe) but in regards to places like the MHL/CHL/AHL, production can only take you so far.

Kral put up very decent numbers in the WHL for a Dman and then went on to a very respectable rookie season in the Czech league as a 21 year old. I don't see him setting the world on fire but I definitely see him being a decent #5 Dman in the NHL with future top 4 potential.

Nobody else on this list I see as being an NHL regular in the future

I think I am going with the Gog's. I honestly think this guy can be a sneaky call up this year. Guy can absolutely melt the biscuit

Interesting that these two end up coming to a draw. Both born in Moskva, Russia. Both 21 year olds from the OHL, coming into their second pro season. Similar production in the OHL and AHL so far. Each with an unimpressive showing in second tier leagues in their early pro debuts (ECHL for SDA, Allsvenskan for Gogo).

I think they end the 3rd tier of prospects. The A-prospects in tier 1 (top-4), the B+ prospects (5-7) and then the B-prospects from (8-15). I don't have Ovchinnikov in my top-3 tiers, so 8-14 for me. He's a big riser compared with my list. Based on this ranking the next prospect to do that will be Filip Kral. But, I think we're entering territory where I wouldn't be surprised with any of these guys being voted in.
