And Šustr with snipe I can't believe he didn't score single goal in his last 3 seasons.

I would kill to see this team at the World's.. but am skeptical.

Vrana is RFA.. I don't see him showing up. I know Nedved has said he'd love to come but in the past 'loving to come' and actually showing up are 2 different things. I'll believe it when he's in a hotel quarantining.

I want Cervenka... not sure he gets invite or even accepts. He went from a guy I complained about to one of my favs.

Zacha has a tendency of not showing... a really bad one. Usually starts with his Dad and then him with some excuse. I'd ask and if he says no I'd never ask again.

Zohorna will be in playoffs (Radim).

Hope for Kubalik! Hope for Voracek! PREY for Hertl! He should be our 1C without question.

I hope to see Masin on team and hope he doesn't get cut. Fine with Musil too!

Hope Bartosak and Hrubec show up but will see what they say after playoffs.

Hronek would be our biggest piece (ahead of NHL snipers) as he's our best D by a mile and we don't have anything else like him.. anywhere.

I still hold out NHL hope for a few of those D ... not Norris but careers like Simek for instance.

I'm a big fan of Salda and hope he can work his way back over.
I'm a HUGE Masin fan and still think he can do it. Got backlogged in Tampa and that is understandable.
L. Zabransky was better than I thought.
Galvas has a nice upside and is coming over for AHL I believe next season.

Hoping 2 of those 4 make it to NHL as regulars for a season or 2. Now to google how Kral is doing in AHL because he's another guy I think might make the unexpected and gigantic jump to the NHL for struggling Czech D.

I know Plasek scored but didn't see it as Czech TV is having technical issues.. 1-1. As a minor firstworldproblem type gripe... the Czechs have 2 games today.. U18 in Texas and National Team in Austria (or Czech, not sure).. somehow, despite being on different ends of the globe, they are both on at the exact same time.lol

I agree. It's more of promise from players than anything else. Lots can happen in meantime, It's not 100% certain. But it would be great if true, especially Hronek.

I don't expect Kubalik or Hertl to show either. They can be on a list but it doesn't mean they are a lock. I think I see this in regular years too...

Media now reports all the NHL players are coming and would love to represent (which is true but not the full story)
Same NHL player gets eliminated from playoffs... 'Hey NHL Czech player, will you be coming to the world's now?'
NHL Czech player - despite playing all 82 games this season, I have an injury and can't make it. My contract expires and I can't make it. My Dad hates you guys and I can't make it.lol

Don't get me wrong, I'm not trying to pile on the Czech players in anyway at all. I just see this every year and this year is even more complicated than normal.

For an NHL Czech to show up I imagine he'd have to be young, single and have a contract for next year already signed. I doubt Vrana forgets Nedved being the one that told him he's benched for instance. Or Zadina getting cut very quickly. Or Zacha and his issues with the team. Or Hertl being a heatlhy scratch in Prague! Or Chytil being a healthy scratch last time. Or any of our NHL goalies who come over and then get sat to cheer on a goalie from the Euro Leagues (which has never worked).
