Unreal game. Could this finally be the Zags year?

Generally its never good for the other team in a final when the opponent is better and had a big scare in the semi final, you usually want to sort of catch them in invincible mode, not after they've been humbled because they usually come out for blood after that happens. Baylor would have preferred Gonzaga winning this game by 25 than 3

UCLA played great, against any other team they would have won. The played Gonzaga's game and lost on a banked 3 in OT.

Have to think UCLA regrets how they approached the end of regulation.

This is one of those games where the losing team should get a lot of credit too. They played Gonzaga all the way to the end. Nothing to feel ashamed of.

UCLA was probably under seeded...you always have to be wary when a big named big money school is a 10-11-12 seed because it usually means they are probably way better than the seeding

That's an iconic shot, man. We'll be seeing that one for the rest of our lives.

That was easily one of the best basketball games I’ve ever seen.

Could have ran the clock down and just shoot for the win, stop and pop.

Juzang didn't need to attack the basket.

UCLA was shooting so well from midrange, why not go back to your bread and butter?

Gonzaga is an incredibly over rated program and coach with only 2 Final Four appearances in school history. I asked Lionel Ritchie how long the Bears will be dunking on them Monday night. He replied "All Night Long".

How are they overrated?

They’ve made the tournament every single year under Few. The fact that they’re in the natty for the second time in under 5 years is crazy.

First time in a while I presume that the national championship game is between two private schools. Duke always played public universities and Syracuse way back when played Kansas.

Baylor has only 3 Final Four appearances in THEIR school history, just one more than Gonzaga.

Duke's first national title came against Kansas in 1991

Apparently Butler is a private school, so Duke-Butler in 2010 and Georgetown-Villanova are the only other such matchups.

'Zaga not off to a good start.

It's because they have turned from lovable underdog to a top tier NCAA Basketball program.

Of course, they are proving every one of their doubters right now. That miracle shot versus UCLA will be remembered as more of a footnote if this keeps up.

What has been overshadowed is the story of Baylor. Their basketball program all but got the death penalty from the NCAA nearly 20 years ago and is on the verge on winning it all.
