They have had it at least since the Eagles were in the ECHL

Annunen did look better second half of the game but that kind of performance has been pretty typical for him this season. It was pretty boring overall, lot of skating not a lot of doing.

Annunen started again and got better as the game went on in the second game as well.

Obviously everyone expects adjustment and not to draw conclusions at the end of a fake season. But the reality is that Annunen has not had a great season in Finland and whatever issues he had there won’t just magically go away so it is part of the evaluation process. Nobody will really know what trajectory he’s on until he has a full season in the AHL.

We also can't forget that he will have two different goalie coaches between the Eagles and the Avs. This might help him considerably. Not saying that his coach in Finland was not good but sometimes somebody sees something that the other doesn't. JJ's numbers are obviously inflated by playing behind the Avs vs BUF but there is no denying he is looking much better now then his first couple of games whit the Avs. Hopefully our guys can help with some adjustments. It would be really nice if he could become our next #1 in a few years.

Yes this is their play in round so they ended Ontario’s season. Eagles play San Jose tonight, who they actually didn’t play at all this season, if they win that then they go to Henderson for a best of 3.

All the talent had their moments in this one. Sampo had like 4 Kadri style chances in OT lol. The Middleton thing is confounding but ya know how it goes, sneaking back door and point shots works sometimes.

It's hard not to get totally hyped about Barron, he's had a really good start to his pro career.

Yeah Barron fits in really well to the style and system. Nice seeing him try some plays too and taking the shot when it’s there. I’d like to see him get a bit more aggressive on the PP but that’s not just him either. He’s done well physically too.
