That's brutal. But to be fair, our top three forwards — Kopitar, Iafallo, and Kempe — were a -2 in a 6-3 win, and one of their three goals was on the power play.

That's pretty impressive in its own right.

Yea it was a 5-3 powerplay and they were out there the entire 2 minutes to get it done. They still end up a minus on the night but dont believe your eyes or the stat sheet. Theyll spend another pregame telling us were so privileged to watch Kopitar play nearly 30 minutes a night. I love Kopitar and weve gotten to watch for about the last 15 years but hes not the only good and capable player on this team anymore.

Yeah, the top line wasn't all that good either on a few of their goals. Not much they could do on the 6 on 3. I don't think anyone realized there were 6 guys on the ice until it went in.I'll give credit to the Flyers for taking advantage and finding the open guy who didn't miss on the onetimer.

We know Colorado will surpass the Kings in the standings.

So if LA is going to make the playoffs, one team currently in front of them will have to fall.

It will be tough. I nominate Anaheim and Edmonton.

Well, both are on losing streaks , so now is as good a time as any to make a move. Calgary still has 5 games to make up , so I see them moving into the 2nd slot at some point. It's going to be a battle 3rd and 4th place.

He’s not wrong though. His point is that offensively Roy is predictable and is a bit of an offensive black hole. That’s fine for the bottom pair but we need more from the whole defense not just him. Next year may well be too early for Clarke and we certainly shouldn’t be putting any pressure or expectations upon him. However with the lack of offense on the blue line it’s not inconceivable that he gets a look at the start of next year with a view to getting sheltered minutes 5/5 and starting off as a pp specialist. I’m not saying that will or should happen but the lad has that bit of X-Factor about him that makes you think it’s a possibility.

IF we were getting more from others, Roy's lack of production wouldn't be a problem since he's more of a Chris Tanev type.

Doughty is putting up points on the top pairing, Durzi is on the bottom. We need more out of the 2nd pairing offensively more than the others, and no Maatta won't be the answer lol.

When Maroon was on the Quacks, while watching Kings-Ducks at home with the Mrs, every time Maroon touched the puck I would go into my best Bugs Bunny "What a maroon!"
After two or three times my wife would give me that "ok ok you're getting real annoying" look (..you guys know the look..). I would tell her each time she did it, "It is never too annoying to make fun of that asswipe and his asswipe team." She would then nod and say, "You have a point there."
