So cmm gets drafted late - immediately tears it up and is playing like a top 3 pick in juniors.

he gets picked to team canada basically last. Gets put on 4th line. Immediately tears it up and is now constantly in top 6.

basixally what I’m seeing about this kid is he’s really, really good and impresses very quickly.

hopefully he’s a 2.5 million cheaper option than Eller next year on the third line.

Lars is just who he is. A inconsistent third liner.

CMM a ton more upside who makes his linemates better. Eller is more of a grinder/goal scorer. He’s never been a good passer as a center.

Nothing against Eller. He’s fine - but CMM isn’t replacing Kuzy or Backstrom. He’s replacing Eller - which if he can do well at 25% of the cost - fantastic

why does he have to replace Eller? CMM has played a ton of winger....so he slots there (3w) and moves Hags down to 4W.
