I'm sorry, but this is a terrible take.

"The system has some flaws. So instead of fixing it, let's just scrap it entirely. Sports were better when we just had to live with getting angry at officials making crap calls with no recourse."

Also they're limited this season by the fact that there's just 1 broadcast providing feeds for both teams and a limited # of camera angles they're permitted to have to limit the amount of staff necessary in the stadium.
They were. Human error is better than 8 hour replays, especially when the system isn't perfect either.

I'd gladly go back to a day of no replays.

It's effectively killed soccer.

Welp. Hoped Shun could get out of it.

*Maybe* Cavan gets him if he goes straight to the baseline rather than the base, but bang bang.

in other news, Kieboom is a pretty great baseball name.

Not really sure how Yamaguchi led Japan in strikeouts when his fastball barely breaks 90 and his off speed and breaking ball are 85-86.

blame it on the ball, whatever. He’s not an MLB pitcher at this point.

Call it like it is. Japanese ball isn't as good as MLB level ball. It's just how it is.

It's why a guy who by most accounts is washed like Adam Jones can go there and look like he belongs.

Well, the bones of a good team are here. We just need a new manager, a couple of bullpen arms and Vlad to lose 50 pounds.

Montoyo is managing like he knows his job is safe and this is a 162 game season.

Better figure it out though because if he’s struggling a year or two from now there won’t be the same grace period to fall back on.

Soccer got ruined because for some reason they went away from clear and obvious. Only league that does it right is MLS.

This MLB one sucks because they only have half the cameras as usual because of COVID

On the plus side, they avoid Strasburg tomorrow and won't have to face a beast like Scherzer. And they can still win the series.
