Well he was definitely one of the graduates they honoured. Altho he played only 3 years, probably got his degree in that time, like Ryan MacKinnon did. Norman Beck, the commentator for the AUSTv games, always said he thought Keilly would only play a couple, then move on. I presume he knows better than I do. Haven't seen or heard anything and I am pretty sure I will. Guess it is pretty hard right now, with nobody playing.

I remember seeing him being honoured as a graduate...just wondering if hosting Nationals will have any impact in possibly luring him back for at least another year (of course, this also depends heavily on academics as well).

Yeah I dunno, never thought of that, the other guys were fifth years, or like Bobby Zinkan never got a lot of time, so he probably figured he was going to get even less when the recruits start coming in. Plus Keilly and Zinkan ( played in SSide) were likely enrolled while still in Junior and got a jump on the academics. But I don't know for sure. Maybe I'll ask Dennis King , if he has ...two seconds!!!

What’s the scoop on Gabe Guertler? I noticed he never played a game last year...but I don’t remember hearing anything about him not being with the team. Injured??

Yeah me too! Beau McCue as well, and the kid who played in Humboldt left in the second half sometime, playing time was getting tight up front, what with the Pilons, Maksimovich, and Sutton.

SMU had eight guys in their graduation ceremony, last home game, including those three. Bunch of four year guys, good players. Hardie and Repaci played five, but it's not all that common at SMU
