Edmonton at #2 in 2018 is hilarious.

I think Minnesota is being under-rated a bit here. I don't anticipate them being more than a wild card team but #27 seems really low.

Or they could become the next LA Kings and repeat in the next 2-5 years. The Blues's core is physical, skilled, relatively inexpensive, and in their prime (Tarasenko, O'Reilly, Schenn, Schwartz, Pietrangelo, Parayko, Binnington) plus they have lots of depth at forward and defense.

That's a possibility as well. The only thing, for me at least, was that I remember the 2012 Kings being labelled a strong darkhorse going into the season. I was much less surprised by the Kings success that season than I was the Blues.

Thats because the Blues aren't a big market. The truth is, they are loaded with skilled, 2-way players from top to bottom, and that makes them almost impossible to match lines against.
