THe draft lottery is so effed up. I ran the simulation about 6 times and not once did the Sens and Sharks pick land on their actual position. Most of time both picks dropped 3 spots; so we'd pick 6 and 9 as opposed to 3 and 6! Several times the Rangers and Blackhawks moved up into the 2nd and 3rd position...two teams that scored big the last two drafts. Such bulls#$#.

It’s just random based on probabilities.
I ran it last evening and got positions 1 and 2 on my first spin.

I didn't do the math but I would guess that with the 28th & 29th pick we would have a 75% chance of getting 1 of the top 2.

Falling into the standing assure an higher pick IF we aren't one of the 3 teams.

That's why losing is beneficial at this point.. Right now, the Sens 1st pick can at worst be the 6th pick if the 3 lottery team would be team with more points.
