It was awfully progressive of the Red Sox to take their furloughed concessions vendors and put them in the bullpen during these trying times. I’m sure they could use the checks

That’s what they did right? Because I don’t have any other explanation

Worst thing about Aaron Judge is that he's actually a decent individual, and that infuriates me because I have nothing to say towards him when he murders us.

I want my villains to be villains.

Actually, they put them in the starting rotation.

Bunch of people with money not used to getting told no. They're basically children and need babysitters. If the NFL ever gets started I would expect even worse results from them.

money doesn’t have much to do with it, we see a bunch of dumb ass poor people crying about their rights because they have to wear a mask (I know they’re poor because their behavior isn’t conducive to success and the fact that it’s usually in a Florida Walmart/gas station)

It’s honestly more about selfishness and immaturity than anything else. And you can find that in every tax bracket. It’s just human nature for many.

What do you guys think of this?

"The Boston Red Sox should trade J.D. Martinez and Jackie Bradley Jr.
We're 10 games into the Red Sox's season, and this team looks nothing like a playoff team, even with the expanded field this year. Given the transition from Dave Dombrowski to Chaim Bloom, Boston figured to use 2020 as a transition year, especially in the wake of Chris Sale's Tommy John surgery in March and with Eduardo Rodriguez out for the season because of a heart condition that apparently stemmed from COVID-19. The Red Sox's lack of starting pitching depth has already been a major issue. That brings us to J.D. Martinez and Jackie Bradley, Boston's two highest-profile pending free agents. Martinez opted to stay in Boston after the 2019 season but has the option to opt out again after the 2020 season. With the National League implementing a DH this season and potentially beyond, the number of suitors for Martinez widely expands. He could provide a big bat for a team chasing a playoff spot, and Bradley brings elite defensive ability in center field. The return for either player could accelerate Bloom's mission to replenish the Red Sox's farm system. -- Joon Lee" Our not-as-early-as-you-think MLB hot takes and bold predictions

They almost have to IMO, especially if they think this season will be canceled before becoming official and we'll be stuck in luxury tax hell for another year. Sox will need all the draft ammo and prospects they can get.

Devers might be my only untouchable at this point.

I'm guessing no one will send them anything good enough for Bloom to be willing to make a deal, not when there's a chance the season could get shut down.

JDM is absolutely going to opt out after the season, especially if the DH in the National League sticks, which it should. His market is going to be wide open then. JBJ is going to be a UFA. Absolutely trade him now if you can get a decent return.

Would either player command a contract that would really set the Sox back? Is JD going to command big $$
