SOLI'S SHORTSIDE
  • There is only one ping pong ball that matters this time, the one with the Oilers logo.
  • Oilers will be represented by GM Ken Holland dialing into the broadcast.
  • Previously the last Canadian selected 1st overall was Connor McDavid in 2015.
  • Prospect notes: Expect Philip Broberg to be assigned to Skelleftea.
  • Every outcome: 1st Overall (12.5%) | 14th OV (75%) | 15th OV (12.5%)
  • Pulling off the lottery win would be of epic proportions.

Bold move to go with the French GDT title.

I still think "Lottery Laffer" is better. :sarcasm:

With Bettman stroking those balls before lottery time and selecting the lone ball. Rangers will win. But for some weird reason I think Leafs going to win.

Anyone but the Leafs.

McDavid badly needs talent to play with him. Laf might be a great compliment to McD - good shot, good in the corners, physical.

Twenty simulations and didn't see Rangers even once, good or bad sign.

Please let it be Oilers ball, let the hockey world sour in peace.

No better franchise in sports when it comes to lottery balls. Everyone has something they're good at I guess so I'm liking our chances.

Though my tarot cards said Nashville when I threw them into my tea leaves this morning.

quick question. I realize we all have 12.5. After tonight, do the picks fall in line with the winning% from the year? Are losses in OT included in that %?
