Lakers gritty effort to get back into it late but fell short

Hopefully they seize more control in future games. They let Denver run away with the game in the first half

That wasn't grit by the Lakers. It was the Nuggets forgetting how to play basketball for a good chunk of the period. Just turning the ball over and over again.

Does it even matter who wins the ECF? The Lakers winning the title feels like a foregone conclusion.
Actually I think either the Celtics or Heat can beat the Lakers because both teams can play very good defense. If you can neutralize LeBron or AD to a certain extent I don't see anyone else on the Lakers going off. Maybe Caldwell-Pope but that's it.

The Heat are going to win this series.

That will be two Boston teams taken out by two Florida teams in the Playoffs.

Herro’s a bucket. He told everyone that a long time ago.

Miami’s own sloppiness and some weird calls made it way closer than it should’ve been but they got it done in the end.

JVG is absolutely right about the review process. They don’t call a clear offensive foul, call a clean strip a foul, and then jump it at center after it’s challenged. The offensive foul on Tatum should be part of the review process because it all happened during one sequence. It also clearly went off him and out of bounds so either way it’s Miami ball and not a jump ball.

Lakers present case to NBA saying LeBron James is not getting enough free throw attempts, per report

A moment of silence for LeBron everyone, he's not getting enough trips to the free-throw line.
Did you even read the article?

"The Los Angeles Lakers have presented a case to the NBA that LeBron James is not getting enough foul calls, according to Brad Turner of the Los Angeles Times. Statistically speaking, the Lakers have a legitimate argument. Through three games, James has attempted only 10 free throws. In Tuesday's Game 3 loss, he had only two attempts after a flagrant foul by Jamal Murray. "

They have a point...
