Butler was never staying, they prematurely went all-in to win last year because their star-hunting summer came up empty. They did what they did because they thought they had to and now have no way out of it.

The Process for the Sixers is over. In actuality the beginning of the end was the fiasco with Markelle Fultz and being worked over by Danny Ainge at the draft. Skeptics worried that he knew something the Sixers didn’t and that turned out to be 100% correct. They will fire Brett Brown and hopefully Elton Brand, and give it another shot with a new braintrust but this is what they are, and it is going to fail.

Just funny that things started going off the rails when the NBA started meddling and bringing in Colangeloes to get the Sixers off the mat when in reality honest-to-god they weren’t done tanking, and were right to not be done tanking. They weren’t going to be drafting top 3 again but putting the chips to the middle on Fultz was the fatal flaw and all dots connect back to that.

Embiid will be on the Lakers or Heat or Clippers within 2 years and Simmons will be like Iguodala on the Warriors where he can play good defense and not be able to be the #3 or 4 option whose team won’t care that he’s too scared to take a 3.

The intensity in this Miami-Indiana game is through the roof. Both teams hitting every shot. Miami is deep, honestly they could be the team that takes Milwaukee out. They have the right combo of defense, shooting and coaching to pull it off.

I can buy that. Bam on Giannis and Butlers a dog to go with all that shooting. They are a dangerous matchup for Milwaukee.

They could’ve re-signed Butler actually. They just didn’t offer him the max even, which is insulting.

The scapegoating has begun with this convenient leak to a reporter. Brown has his issues and they probably need a new voice but this isn't all on him. This comes off as the front office trying to shift blame for last year's disastrous offseason.
