Dame stepped up late, as usual.

The Lakers guards are just brutal. It's only one game and I expect them to win this series but that was some ugly shooting tonight.

Wow both 8 seeds win Game 1. When was the last time that happened in NBA playoffs

Well they just said it was 2003 on TNT post game show, Spurs and Pistons both lost game 1

i really want to know what was going through vogel's head when he pulls red hot kuzma for danny green who has been absolute garbage all season long? seriously, what the **** are you thinking? and right after that, they blow the lead. just horrendous coaching

but besides that, lakers aren't making it out of round 1 shooting the ball so poorly

That Nurkic dunk at the end, Danny Green ballwatching. So unlike the all-team 1st/2nd defense level Green from past seasons.

Lakers will win this series. They will be fine.

But if they do lose, how much damage will lebron's legacy take?

He's always the talking point because he's LeBron but he just went for 23, 17, and 16 tonight. Couple of issues were the rough night from three and his FT struggles but I think he mostly did his part.

Meanwhile......

yeah, lebron was the furthest thing from the issue

AD sucked, green and KCP were even worse, and they still can't shoot for shit. not quite a winning formula

The NBA has basically become a “you must shoot the 3” league
This.
I don't have a problem with a sport evolving, we can't be stuck in the past, but I like to see a little balance between midrange and 3 pt shooting
I'm not the biggest fan of the 90s, I think that era is grossly overrated, but they had the right balance of midrange vs 3 pt shooting

I've been enjoying the Lillard show though, but it might just be his attitude more than anything else.

Embiid and Cousins actually have a nice post game
But Embiid has fallen in love with the outside shot

Jokic and KAT have a nice post game as well
