On board with this except I'd knock Five Guys right off the list for horribly inconsistency and price
Farmer Boy's is underrated
I've only had The Counter once and I was really, really impressed, but IIRC it was a little pricier. I think In-N-Out gets a bad rap sometimes because people try to put them up against gourmet restaurants without realizing it's just super good value with fresh ingredients

I will agree that 5 guys has better fries, their burgers are not as good as I-N-O

Carl's Junior = incredibly underrated burgers!!! Not as good as In-N-Out or Tommy's, but still underrated and definitely the best option amongst "mainstream" burger places (i.e., McDs, Burger King, Jack, etc.).

Hasn't inflation affected ALL fast-food joints? And, you are correct, I have not been there in while.....

I was shocked at their prices just recently. I ended up going with their (at least at my local CJR) $4.99 Superstar combo, which for some reason doesn't include cheese. Adding cheese probably is +$1 for 2 slices .

Wish they still had 2 of my 80's favorites. The OG Crisp burrito and their OG fish sandwich.

I'm pretty sure at one time their $6 burger was more than $6 . I don't think that's a menu item anymore is it?
