If that is TJS for Verlander it could end next season as well for him.

Marlins who tested positive for COVID-19 in the last few hours:

Jorge Alfaro
Garrett Cooper
Harold Ramirez
Jose Urena

Verlander might not be out just yet. Baker said it's a forearm strain and they'll reevaluate in a few weeks. Verlander tweeted that he/they are hoping it'll heal after some rest and would be back at some point.

August TJS at 37+? Yes, he'd be out until spring training 2022.

There goes his chance at 300 wins. He'll have to pitch until he's 44 (not impossible).

The Marlins also played the Braves last week, who started the season keeping out their top 2 catchers because of symptoms although they tested negative.

The 2-3 day lag in testing really does not work in MLB's favour when teams are playing games basically every single day and the players are not bubbled. They aren't finishing this season.

And, unless this has changed, they weren't even testing every player/coach every single day. It was more like every 2nd day or 6 days out of 9.

Playing that Phils-Marlins game yesterday was incredibly dumb.

I don't see how the Marlins can keep playing games for the next 2 weeks.

If this Virus is still here into next season the 2021 season could be lost and then we face potential CBA fight

Its possible that MLB never recovers
