Israel's golden age seems to be over, this is as ugly it gets.

Either Belgium is really really good, or China is not dominating hockey world any time soon :sarcasm:

This definitely has potential to be a pretty interesting division. Upon seeing the teams play my ranking would be

Korea
Croatia
Netherlands
China
Belgium
Israel

Having said that, top 4 teams can definitely challenge each other.

Also the Netherlands have 2 16 year-olds on the roster, one is a starting goalie and the other top-line forward. Looks somewhat promising.

Korean goalie, very uncharacteristically to them, is pretty solid as well. Might be the tallest man in Korea, too.

Big win today for Croatia albeit vs. Israel. Korea and China, my picks for the class of this group, got wins today as well.

Israel actually won against China 2 years ago, what the hell happened to their hockey in those 2 years?

Look at their roster two years ago and where they played and compare to this bunch. As already wrote couple of posts ago, it was their best generation probably ever.

China and South Korea are atop the standings here after Day 2. I think these 2 are the class of this group, when do they play vs. 1 another?

An interesting game today in China vs Croatia, should be pretty equal opponents by the looks of it.

Hmm, looks like Croatia means business. 2:0 up in first.

I rarely do it but today I placed a small wager on Croatia to make watching D2B U20 more interesting, as bookmakers were considering them underdogs and I was considering them favorites, and so far I feel pretty smart.

I think neither the Netherlands losing to Korea that heavily, nor them crushing Croatia that badly really reflects the real strengths of those teams.

Yeah, why try fixing the hole in the ice when you can take pictures of it lol

That mostly happens when you have no idea and want to ask someone via messenger "what the hell do I do with that". Which is pretty concerning.

Well at least they found some kind of solution. Unlike that Netherlands - Spain OGQ game that got postponed for a month mid-game due to the very same issue.
