He is going to end up to Dallas / AV's or another contender on a 1 year deal. If any of the top teams would guarantee him a 15+ min TOI, even with minimum pay, I bet he would grab it.

He is 7/7 playoffs, 12%+ shot and his advanced on-ice stats are through the roof, plus he is still in his prime (29 yo). Taking a 3x3M contract from Penguins, Sharks or even Preds would make 0% sense to me following him as a long time fan.

I don't think it's about the money and he could still cash-in if he had a one good year if money was that important.
