Islanders QOs. Soderstrom was the only RFA not to get one.

Little surprised that Ho-Sang got qualified doesn't seem like they want him and no one would even claim him on waivers so not a trade asset but maybe there hoping he goes to Europe rebuilds some value and then they can trade him maybe

It's especially baffling as they traded his AHL rights last year after the deadline and he finished off the season with St Louis' then-minor team in San Antonio.

QO was 1.5M
Might be a play to just sign him to a smaller contract
Either way, someone will pick him up

issue here most likely was not QO amount, but Arbitration eligible means risk of outsized Cap Hit -

an award just under the ~$4.5M+ walk-away threshold is what teams are worried about

Arbitration Filings - CapFriendly - NHL Salary Caps

Player elected Arbitration Settlements of 1 year and greater than $4,538,958, Club can walk away from the awarded salary, making the player a UFA [CBA 12.10(a)]
Player elected Arbitration Settlements of 2 years and greater than $4,538,958, Club can walk away from the second (2nd) year of the awarded salary, making the player a UFA at the end of year 1 [CBA 12.10(b)]

Virtanen qualified (There was some rumors that he might not be...).

Just for the record, as of right now, I'm only updating the Qualifying Offer chart for official announcements (From the team).
