Hopefully Larson ends up in the 48. He deserves a second chance, and we already know Jeff Gordon has liked him for a long time.

not going to be happening with any manufacturer......if you lost Ford, Chevrolet and Toyota have ended their relationship....there's no way Larson goes to another Chevrolet team....it's Sprint Cars , so the option of the 48 possibility ended when Chevrolet terminated the Personal Service contract, the question is is CGR Done in NASCAR, because it's not just the 42, it's the 1 as well......

latest rumor is McMurray returning to the 42....but as Larry Mac SAID, all the sponsors, including Chevrolet have to approve whomever is the successor....

SHR is not an option unless someone else goes and that's not likely to those under contract because the 10 is tied to the sponsorship, or we have the sponsor leave the sport much like what occurred to the CGR Xfinity team

I can see Jamie Mac in the 42 with the prior history in the organization and with the sponsors, there wouldn’t be too much risk factor there

It’ll be tough for Larson though, can’t see major sponsors wanting to take a chance, or major teams... and he doesn’t have the knowledge level to help a small team to help with their product ala Kurt Busch when he came back

Bristol, Atlanta, Martinsville and Homestead and Talledega will follow the Darlington/Charlotte return through 6/14; Martinsville may be a mid week race; Iowa will be benched for 2020 as was Chicagoland and their date assigned to Homestead....

also XFINITY will likely not run a stand alone race at Mid Ohio on their scheduled date

ARCA will return at Talledega

Darlington is scheduled to return this afternoon but TS Arthur is foiling efforts as its apparently pouring through most of the Carolinas...... Brad Keselowski awarded pole through draw; Wednesday's race will be inverted throughout the field with 1 minor exclusion as Tommy Baldwin will not race the 2nd Cup race but is entered today

Darlington race results:

Stage 1: 24-Byron;

Stage 2: 2-Keselowski;

Stage 3/Race: 4-Harvick;

Notes: 47-Stenhouse never got through turns 1 and 2 as he was spun out on the opening lap; 48-Johnson runs into the 17- Buescher at the end of stage 1; then a banner malfunction between the 18/11/8

Chris Gayle (JGR 20/Erik Jones) suspended Wednesday for multiple lug nut violations (2 lug nuts not tight);

XFINITY Darlington moved to 6 pm Tuesday due to potential weather issues (need only 74 laps of 147)
