Kansas had odd losses last year too IIRC but looked competitive in some Big 12 games, nearly beating Texas IIRC

Kansas also whooped up on BC last year which was one of the most hilarious games of the season

An overall embarrassing day for the Big 12......following the 2 afternoon upsets, we had Texas Tech barely squeaking by 41 point underdog Houston Baptist & Kansas losing to Coastal Carolina.

Big 10 just looks silly. COVID didn't suddenly become less dangerous and the plan to handle it didn't suddenly become monumentally better. They made a bad bet that everyone else would cancel and they wanted to be one of the first to do so. Once they realized plenty of others were going to play, they didn't want to lose out on that money.
