I think the next guy here howls at the moon. Hate rating goalies this high... but man... he was the best goalie in the CHL last season. I know that’s not a sure-fire NHLer award... but that award is rarely won by 18 year olds (normally 19 and 20s); and he was his teams mvp.

I like the other pieces we have, nothing strikes me as as good as Wolf could potentially be. But also Flames and goalies... so, I guess that’s a negative.

Zavgorodny has loads of skill from my viewings. It is very muddy here though, could be a handful of guys

Between Kinvall and Phillips for me. Kinvall edges it because I think he'll carve out a niche here more easily.

Also whatever happened to that UofA guy, Luke Philp?

From what I've seen he had an ok rookie pro season in Stockton, got better in the second half, but he's also 25 in like a week. If he's going to show something it's got to be this year. I like his IQ but doesn't really have much else that helps him stand out.

I gotta go with Little Z here. Though I would say Wolf would be my second choice.

I really hesitate to rank goalies so high. Mostly because this is the Flames we’re talking about. But it’s hard to go against Wolf here IMO.

I honestly have no clue. Could be one of twelve guys here

-kinvall big numbers in the SHL
-Emilio big time college numbers
-Phillips or Gawdin are proven in the second best league in the world (no the KHL is not better-give your head a shake)
-Ruzicka has a strong finish in the AHL
-Chechelev and Wolf Are showing positive signs
-Poirier has the best pair of boots we’ve drafted since Brodie
-Kuznetsov could be that shutdown guy we’ve needed forever
-Zavgo or Nicolaev could be something

none really pop off the page but I think any of these guys could develop into a solid player.

Voted Poirier because there is just so much to work with there.

I strongly disagree with putting goalies in our top 10. That is all

I prefaced saying I really don't like it either.

That said, if someone said I can only keep one, I'm keeping him. I like what Zav and MEP did last season...
MEP with a damn strong showing as a D+2 in college. Those are the types of numbers that jump off the page for a second year import. I think we quietly have something really good there.

Same thing with Zav. Can't have too many guys dominating the leagues they're in, to be honest.

Past goalie flops don't matter to me, he has a better chance of being a game changer than the others IMO.

19 year old goalie as a top 5 prospect.
