:bolts looking to clear cap

We have no real cap dumps...but you can probably get some good 2nd tier players (Killorn, Palat, Johnson, Gourde, etc) for cheaper than they are worth...

Graves is an important future piece on the back end for the avalanche along with makar, girard, byram and i find it very gard theyd trade him for a declining 35 yr old carter(3rd rd pick added wont make it happen either)

cant see it ever happening but hey thats just my take
Graves is a one year wonder who is a solid bottom pairing guy but nothing more and wouldn't even get in the lineup for the Avs with the trade for Ristolainen. Bednar hates big Z so he'll be the one traded this offseason but it should be Graves they sell high on. Carter while older is a better version of Compher and can have Bowers replace him

Trading Janmark, Perry, and Polak’s UFA rights. Can also take on a CBO for a pick/prospect because I don’t plan on using one

After further analysis, we have 4,4m in cap space...

Before signing Cirelli, Sergchavev, Cernak, and filling 3 other skater spots.

In summary, we are screwed.

Would like to move one or multiple of Killorn, Gourde, Johnson or Palat. Open to anything that saves us though.

agree with you zadorov will be moved but pretty much nothing else . Think the avs highly value graves so cant see him being moved for carter in real life but for this schtick here with ristolainen’s addition , sure . All good

Is it just me, or does anyone else think Torey Krug's contract upcoming will start with an 8 or a 9 and not 6.5 million for 7 years.

We have a trade to announce!

To :habs

Joel Edmundson

To :canes
Picks 98 and 132 in the 2020 draft

We’re thrilled to use some of our draft capital to add some stability and reliability to the left side of our defense. We’re excited to bring in Joel while still being able to draft in every round.

The Canadiens have announced the signing of Edmundson to a three year deal with an AAV of 3.5M
