Zero chance anyone claims him. 5.5 million hit this year and next.
Thanks. I was wondering because he seems to be about the middle of the defensemen section of the Panther depth chart.
Stralman would certainly be an interesting pickup, if nothing else. If he were on the Leafs, I'm sure Benning would claim him.
free ticket out of philly i guess
Is that a cap structure roster-type move or is Philly enticing the Panthers to pick him up (Hometown kid)
Wow. I remember people saying he's the next E. Karlsson not too long ago.
I guess the difference is Karlsson has an NMC and can't be waived?
O'Brien and Holden also on waivers.
I don't get the O'Brien waive. Isn't he already UFA? Or have they just signed him?

He was UFA and they just signed him and put him on waivers
Did Anisimov clear? I thought he’d be a decent bottom 6 player for a competitor/fringe team looking for depth. And his contracts up after this year so if you don’t like him, see ya.
Sort of a roster management move, I fully expect him to be in the lineup on Thursday
With the contract and everything we've seen with waivers this year, I don't expect him to get picked up, Gusev is an interesting one
If a deep contending team needs a PP specialist and can heavily, heavily shelter him at ES then they might be able to get some points out of Goose. He can't skate, like at all, and but has exceptional hands and vision.
Isles here ya go
I'm sure Luff will clear easily.
Back in 2019 it looked like we might have found a diamond in the rough, but he never really progressed.
That said, he'll probably be snapped up, because nothing about waivers makes any sense.
I’d be pretty surprised if some team doesn’t give Gusev another go. He’s too talented.
The only reason be might get claimed is because he makes virtually nothing, $700,000 for this season only, and he has a decent shot. I wouldn't be sad losing him though.
