That’s a wrap for the 20-21 SPHL season. Pensacola claims game 2 4-1 to upset the best regular season team in SPHL history 2 games to 0. Alec Hagaman wins the MVP and Pensacola claims their 4th President’s Cup Championship. Macon could not get anything going offensively and once they trailed by 3-0 in the second it was all but over. Great season by all 5 teams and the league. Hope to see all 10 teams return with Vermilion County joining the fun in the fall.

There's a caveat to that: Their regular season .810 winning percentage is indeed an SPHL record, BUT it was only over 42 games & against just 4 opponents. That kinda "record breaking season" might be a big deal in the FPHL, but the SPHL needs to set a slightly higher bar.
