There were some good things from Andersson and Vilardi this game.

For the rest of the season, I think the best scenario for the Kings is Vilardi/Andersson really hitting their stride and scoring like top 6 forwards.

That would give me huge optimism going into next season, and honestly if it does happen, the Kings would probably make the playoffs, since 5v5 goalscoring is their one major weakness right now (currently 27th in the league).

Let’s be honest, all the Kings success balances on those 2. The Kings severally lack secondary scoring. If Kopitar isn’t putting up 3 pts and the power play isn’t rolling, Kings can’t win games without those 2.

It’s why the season has had such ups and downs, when either Vilardi or JAD were rolling the kings were winning, if not, Kings are losing. It’s the reality of relying on rookies for such key positions.

I like how he called it a collision when it was a straight on mugging! He just crosschecked him into the body then took him down.

Earned that 3 games. Because of cap problems, the can't call anyone up and have to play 2 players short.
