We've needed more from Kempe since he arrived. I don't know why people are high on him. I mean he is on a better pace this year, I admit. Just seems like a ghost most times.

Too many highs and lows from him. If the Kings are really looking for D he's got to go the other way.

He has a great flow and is fast. I’d package him for a decent defenseman and give Kupari a look

There is something to be said for drafting at 18 and let him develop for 3-4-5 years! I like the 5 year route myself...they are men when they come over from Europe,Kaprizov,Kubalik...and produce and get better and better

They probably should have mentioned on the broadcast that Gaborik was 18 as a rookie and Kaprizov is 23. Kaprizov is a fantastic player, but I'm going to need to see more than 15 games to say he compares to Gaborik, who was a legit superstar despite playing in that horrific Jacques Lemaire system.
