Good to see Dellandrea producing at the AHL level. 5 points in 6 games

Damiani is still a PPG guy btw. 33 in 33

Harley has also been good, 8 points in his last 8 games

For Harley the OHL not happening was probably not a bad thing. He was clearly ready for the AHL. For Porco and Stranges on the other hand ? Not really. Stranges played 9 AHL games and Porco into 4 . Both not really doing much . Just not ready for this level.

Stranges was decent, but he just got pushed out of the lineup for better players. Porco on the other hand is clearly not ready and I doubt gets signed.

Växjö Lakers wins SHL Chanpionship. In final game our prospect Fredrik Karlstrom has the primary assist in the first goal and scored the second goal for his team, that goal became the game breaking goal

To keep in line with the potential busts.
Albin Eriksson is rumored to be heading to Finland. To no one's surprise it is Lindell's former team and the one Kari Takko works for as an advisor, Ässät Pori.
Maybe he can take a step forward there similar to Stenqvist did.

Do you think there's a possibility Bäck could be loaned there as well or are they planning to play him in the AHL even after a rather mediocre season in Sweden? Cause at the moment Ässät has 2 centers signed and only one of them is any good...

The latest on him is that he will head over to the AHL next season. So no Liiga for him, as far as the current plans are holding up.

Seems motivated. Going over to Finland already on Monday to get started with new the new team and new conditioning training.

Pretty sure he knows / has been told his career is on the line. He needs to start showing something. Not even just his NA career but upper echelon european leagues don't exactly have openings for guys who don't produce anything.

Just checked out their stats and you could make the argument that Damiani was the best rookie forward and Harley was the best rookie Dman in the AHL this year

Didn’t watch many games this year, but those two and Mascherin have an impressive stat line. Won’t be surprised to see all three get NHL games next year. Mascherin is waiver eligible, gotta imagine he makes it as an extra forward

Not expecting Bourque to put up any numbers in the AHL, but its cool he's getting some gametime

Stars blew the one goal lead but it was more bad luck then anything. Iowa's first goal was a low percentage point shot that went in thanks to traffic in front. Tie game with 7 minutes left, Mascherin makes a nice play to set up Gleason for a grade A chance but hits the post...Iowa then goes down and scores on another weak point shot a short while later (this time tipped). Dellandrea almost sets Louis up for the game tieing goal with 2 minutes left but he hits the crossbar. Iowa then scored the empty netter 10 seconds later.

Great game for the Stars top prospects though. Harley in particular was flawless, smooth as silk skating the puck up ice and didn't make a bad decision all night. They seem to have put Gleason on the top pair with him recently, and it's a great choice. Two intelligent puck movers on the same pair makes for a magical brand of hockey.

Why is your expectation so low?
Just the end of season amateur try out signings I alwasy assume there is going to be so many adjustments and different stuff that them just getting game time I'm happy with. I'm also assuming he isnt coming in and getting top line, first PP minutes like he did in the Q.

Gleason bounced back big time this year.

Hanley is such an isanely good deal. 750k for two years, he's someone who can play or not play, and if he does play hes actually decent

He's the type of player who a couple of years would've never ever seen any NHL games . 5'11 depth defenseman nope. But that 6'4 or taller stiff ? Get him in there to beat people up. Doesn't matter if he can barely stay on his skates.
