Bad decision on the part of Johnson. He may look at it as what's best for him but NBA coaches and GMs are going to take note of him as the guy who quit on Duke when the season went bad. In their minds they are going to say "Gee that could cost me my job if he quits on our team".

They'll think he learned from Coach K, who in his only two bad seasons at Duke, took a sabbatical for his bad back and asked that the record go on his assistant; and lobbied for the administration to not play basketball this year at all.

The rankings have been weird.

I was watching some of the UCLA vs. Arizona State game last night and Lunardi has UCLA currently as a 9 seed despite being 12-3 and tied for first place in the PAC-12.

Maybe PAC 12 is weak this year

Not sure, nobody there is a threat

Check to see how many Pac 12 teams he put in the tournament

sounds like Archie's done. I don't get IU man. They beat Iowa and Northwestern and were iin the field but their struggles of late are reminiscent of their early season sruggles. Stick a fork in em.

Maybe Archie is better off coaching Dayton-type teams? The grass isn't always greener in the big-boy conferences.

Ohio State is the #4 team in the country yet is getting blown out by #9 Iowa and lost to #3 Michigan.

Told you OSU wasn't that good.

I think they are like 15.

Congrats. They manhandled my Blue tonight.

That Illini team did that too without that Dor guy.

Yup. Illinois, playing its best basketball at the right time, is IMO the best team in the country(yes...even better than Gonzaga) at this moment, and Ayo will be back soon.

They have 8 VERY good rotation players. The best “top 8” in the nation. Ayo, Cockburn, Bez, Frazier, Williams, Grandison, and the freshman guards Miller and Curbelo.

If they don’t beat themselves(missed FTs) I think they’ll win the tournament/championship.
