So the Habs will have between $22.65M and $26.65M with 14 players signed.

Only RFA to signed are Max Domi and Victor Mete
Kotkaniemi, Poehling, Fleury, Romanov (probably) all available for less than $1M

There's options there.

Don't max entry level contracts go up to 3ish millions with bonuses ?

This is exactly why the Aho offer sheet should have been a lot higher. His cap hit will likely be a bargain in a couple years.

nice, Bergy will keep more money on the side for Molson as an incentive so he can keep his job as GM. it's been working marvelously so far.

only in habs Land does the GM give bonuses to his boss. :sarcasm:

Unsuccessful UFA offer this offseason:

Montreal to Taylor Hall - 7 years at 12M

Taylor Hall refuses and signs:

NYRs - 7 years at 10M

Bergevin re-signs Kovalchuk at 8M for three years instead. ;)

Wasnt the cap something like 35 million coming out of the 04-05 lockout?

If covid become more serious the sports world will be turned inside out and caps drop
