Mitchell notcexsctly making much fifference...the -7 i7GP if that once keeps going is ratger Ugly...

EvenJojiharju was :only" -7 after his 38 game only season in Chicago stint.

WillMitchell be -38 at tgec38 game mark?

There had better be improvement in thatES stat ...onexway to cut it down is to at least contribute offense.. butvso far nothing soecial to indicate that either...

Sorry to be harsh ...Notcas if he goofs up every shift...but when he goofs even rarely, it gets put into back ofvour net...Notvyhst otgersvonD are putting up any good +/- either..

But still...considering many on these boards said he was a Calder frontrunner ...thatxain't even close to happening off the stats si far.

If it gets to-20with no offense by gamec29 he by any logic should be sent to Rockford...so ...On Notice?

Would Beaudin or Kalynuk be any better?
They are both LD though...

At some point IF Mitchell keeps puking up minuses with almost no compensating offense, thevotgervtaxivsquad dmen gotta be gove a chance .

Hockey us harsh...sink or swim.

well I think there are three early Rookie of the year candidates and they are:

Kaprizov
Ty Smith
Lankinen

Kevin is right there IMO, not sure that he will be in the end but he is now IMO

In the Hills
Don't look now but Hawks have two in the top 5 in rookie scoring!
Granted the season is still young but Pius Sutter is 3rd with 7 and Kurashev is 5th with 6. Kaprisov has 9 in 1st.
Stutzle is looking like he's going to begin soaring so should see him start climbing.

what can any of you tell me about Lucas Carlsson?
what are his chances of becoming a NHLer?
I like him but he lacks any real traits to be anything but a 3rd pair.

He has decent but not impressive skating and offensive skill. He has a good defensive effort and will be a little physical despite his size. But he doesn't have real anything but a steady game.

And seeing Beaudin by contrast, Beaudin has a top notch above him in IQ and maybe puck moving skills so I dont think for the Hawks Carlsson has a future.

Leafs fan coming in peace. :)

I always had a little soft spot for you guy, at first because of the logo ;), then becauae of Kane/Toews... Since you got Kubalik the Hawks are probably no 1 (way) after the Leafs as I'm a fan of Ambrì (Kubalik played for them in Switzerland). I'm happy that Suter & Kurashev seem to be doing good. I hope they continue doing good! :thumbu:

This is the kind of year I was hoping for (minus the absence of Toews and Dach). Watching the young kids develop and remaining competitive in every game. Hagel seems like one of those players who will be a solid bottom 6, but can slot into the top six anytime there is an injury or someone else isnt playing well. Kurashev and Suter lead the league rookies in goals. And Lankinen is close to cementing himself as the official starting goalie.

It's nice to see a regular amount of rookies both dressing and contributing on a nightly basis. Boqvist, Wallmark and Carpenter will eventually be back...how that affects things is unknown...chemistry is happening so Colliton has to be attentive and careful

Wyatt Kalynuk replaces Anton Lindholm on Taxi Squad...Connor Murphy out 10-14 days so he might miss 7 games!

Welcome. We need more Swiss here, especially as our primary guy is a little whack.

Who is going to lead the PP a few years from now: Boqvist or Beaudin? Do you guys think Beaudin is a sure NHLer or are there serious question marks with his size and defensive abilities?
