I think of Foote as our mystery prospect since he didn't play anywhere for such a long time since we acquired him. Nice to see him doing well. We could certainly use a big shooting winger.

Isn't he coming off a lower leg injury? I'd give him an offseason to work on his skating and come in healthy with a full training camp and go from there. Maybe he's an ox and he can't improve, but he's got the other ingredients apparently so it's worth the investment of time in the AHL if nothing else.
