Meier and Couture need a distributor that can control the pace of play to some degree. Meier might have the potential to be that guy but he's got a very crash and bang tempo to his game.

Couture seemed to be trying to turn more into a distributor the last 2 seasons. I wouldn't mind Labanc with him, probably prefer is based on play style (shooters vs passers) but if Labanc is a drag defensively, he's better with Hertl who dominates possession.
