I don't have a sutbscription to the athletic anymore butt i came across a summary of the sens writeutp, for anyone wondering here is how the sens kids were ranked
1) Brady - Elite
2) Norris - High-end
3) Formenton - High-end
4) Batherson - High-end
5) Brannstrom - High-end/very good bubble
6) Brown - Legit NHLer
7) Pinto - Legit NHLer
8) JBD - Legit NHLer
9) Thomson - Legit NHLer
He put the rest of our name prospects as potential NHLers.
IMO those are fair assessments. I'm a little surprised that Formenton leapfrogged Batherson, but then Formenton did take a big step forward this year. Prior to the previous season, I thought he was likely to be a third liner at the NHL level, but now I think he has a shot at being a top 6 forward. Additionally, Batherson falling below Formenton may have to do with him not really taking the next step.
I suspect some will take issue with Brown and Pinto not even making the "very good" category, even if I think "Legit NHLer" is reasonable for them.
Ah well, 7th is really good, and after the next draft top 5 seems very likely.
