This thread is to discuss and analyze the ranking and depth of each position within the organization. For the time being this will be restricted to players under contract for the 2020-2021 season. Players like Pinto, Sanderson, Kleven, Bernard-Docker, Jarventie and others in the NCAA or other leagues will be excluded. Tim Stutzle will be tentatively included as current speculation suggests he will be playing with Ottawa this season.

Part of the purpose of this thread is to speculate on which players will play on which lines in Ottawa and in the event of injury which players might be in line for a call up. Some players will be included in multiple lists as it relates to which positions they have historically played.

Posters can organize any list they create in any way they deem fit. They can separate the Ottawa Senators depth chart from the Belleville Senators depth chart and then create an additional depth chart for call up depth.

These lists are not the current ranking of organizational depth but instead the full list of players by position.

Man our right side looks ugly with not much help coming. Next offseason this HAS to be our biggest priority.

Ottawa,Ontario
Tkatchuk(40P)-White/Norris(30P)-Dadonov(35P)
Stuetzle(30P)-Tierney(28P)-C. Brown(28P)
Galchenyuk(25P)-White/Norris(22P)-Batherson(30P)
Paul-Anisimov-Watson
L. Brown, Balcers

Chabot(35P)-Gudbrandson
Reilly-Zaitsev
Wolanin(20P)-Brown
Brannstrom, Jaros

Murray
Hogberg
D'Accord

This is what I see the sens doing realistically

2021 this roster is wide open

Tkatchuk(70P)-Norris(60P)-Dadonov(50P)
Stuetzle(70P)-X-X
Formenton(40P)-White-C.Brown
Paul-Pinto-Watson

Chabot(65P)-X
Brannstrom(45P)-JBD(30P)
Sanderson-Zaitsev

I don't see a long term fit for Tierney and Wolanin, nor do I see Anisimov resigned. I think we see a couple of trades, especially if L Brown is not an NHL player by end of year.

It keeps surprising me seeing Stuetzle penciled in on the 2nd line behind Tkachuk, but i guess it shouldnt. It will obviously start that way but i wonder how long it will continue. Hopefully Stu becomes a centre that plays with Brady instead. But yeah if we are building from the back end out that right side d is a glaring hole, although its not the only one either.
