Every time I think this Minnesota team finally gets it they have a game like last night. All night trying to make cute 3 way passing plays against a team that plays with structure. At least 2 of UW goals were off of turnovers on ill advised passes. Passing up shots. Ranta shoots the puck over the net on a wide open goal trying to go bar down. All night with the poke checks instead of playing the body. No sustained zone time because they didn't get a lot of pucks deep to pressure.

Tip of the cap to the Badgers. They were the better team last night and yes Hollaway is very good at hockey.

3-0 final over the Irish. They badly needed that, after getting their manhood ripped off in a nasty Badger attack last weekend.

Last night Gopher-Fighting Irish game could have easily been 5-2 Gophers. Both goalies were great.
This Gopher team plays much better on the NHL size rink. Very few offensive blue line turnovers and strong forecheck on their dump ins. Raanta and Faber were very good last night.
