I'd imagine I'll probably be voting for O'Rourke until 9 or 10. Add Nesterenko or Novak.

Khovanov has had a rough few months. He would have been much higher a month or two ago.

Menell, top 4 probably, top 6 probably now. Gonna need him if we trade Dumba and Belpedio doesn't work out. Guessing Addison is a year or two away still is why I say that

Can we just take a moment to appreciate that top 6? A franchise changing caliber pool.
It's good, but I think we can pump the brakes a little. I see one probable good top-six wing, on possible good top-six center, one hopefully good top-six wing, one potential top-4 defenseman, and one potential backup goalie. It's a good list but we arent into franchise-saving territory yet.

If Khovanov was just sitting at home waiting for the AHL season to start he would've been picked before Beckman, and maybe Addison.

I think the wrong defenseman got voted 4th myself.

Yep, we have information on him that we wouldn't have had. That will affect opinions. Had he started scoring at a good rate (.5 ppg?) he would have been picked ahead of everyone not named Kaprizov and Rossi. I'm not about to condemn him as a prospect because of a rough start to his pro career, but I'm not going to ignore it either.

I would've voted for Menell over Addison, because I'm big on guys who have actually delivered while playing in a very tough league(AHL), but I was taken with what little I saw of Addison in the pre playoff camp with the Wild, and in the WJC's. He is talented.

Menell certainly deserves a chance in the NHL, but you could say the same about Belpedio.
