For Laval....if I'm the Habs, I try to get Samuel Asselin out of Boston/Providence. Neat centerman with some very good hockey IQ.

So next season, there will be different amount of games played in different divisions. But as of the season after (2022-23), all teams will play 72 games.

Next year, Laval's division will be basted on points percentage because some teams will play 72 games and others will play 76.

Cleveland, Rochester, and Syracuse will play 76 games. Meanwhile Laval, Belleville, Toronto, and Utica will play 72.

The season is set to begin October 15th. But no detail on that and the format for the playoffs. They will release it later in the summer.

wonder why we lost 4 games, so we have gone from 80 to 76 to 72 in some 10 years or so. (not talking about these 2 covid impacted years)

Is there a particular reason for why teams are playing different number of games?

What a great signing....but what a fall from the kid. Was clearly on a NHL path. And now...can't even sign a NHL 2-way contract....
