Big thank-you to whomever explained cap implications of LTIR. I wanted to, but was too lazy. But we can use Gally's cap hit at the trade deadline, and if he returns before play-offs, we only need to put a similar salary on LTIR. That, of course would be simple. We tell Tonya Harding that Drouin is her competition at womens figure-skating. ( and that's surely easy to believe) And then we can put him on LTIR.

No word on when and if he'll be back before the end of the season. I would say he'll more than likely not be back before the end of the season (gut feeling)
