I don't know if Gordin is injured because he's not in the line-up for SKA-1946 today. I looked at his KHL profile, where they note if he is with the VHL team or in the KHL, but he's still listed as being in the MHL.

Frolunda's game today against Oskarshamn has been postponed and will be played on March 6th,

So the only prospect in action today is Joni Ikonen with Ilves. And there is also Arvid Henrikson for anyone who might still consider him a prospect (or even if you do, in case you care).

Mattias Norlinder scored his 4th of the season on a blast on the Power Play to tie the game 3-3. Norlinder picked up his 3rd point in the last 4 games and 5th in the last 13 (not counting the game he was injured just a few minutes into). He now has 4 goals on the season which puts him in a tie for 5th OA among U-21 defensemen in the SHL.

His team was able to come back from behind to win 4-3 despite having to kill off a 5 on 3 PP at the end of the game which turned into a 6 on 3. Frolunda had dropped from 1st place to a tie for 6th (last playoff spot) so this was a big win for them as the season is winding down.

his totals,

1g, 2 shots, 1 hit, +1, 18:15

that's only the 2nd time since he came back from his last injury that he's played over 18 mins.

another way to look at Norlinder's season,

currently at 8 pts in 29 games (.28 ppg)

he started the season slow with just 3 pts in his first 13 games (.23 ppg, Sept 19th to Oct 29th

then he went to play for Team Sweden at Euro Tour where he got injured (11-5/11-7)

he returned on 11-28 and played 6 games before getting injured next game just a few minutes into the game. At this time he had just 4 pts in 19 games. (.21 ppg, injured on 12-17)

On Jan 14th he returned again after missing one month, where he has 4 pts in 9 games. (.4444 ppg)

So the question is, is he starting to find his way or just a small sample size and he will revert close to the .28 ppg? Just to look at the numbers, a .44 ppg over 29 games would be 13 pts and clearly not bad as it would put him tied for the team lead in ppg for defensemen on his team (as the top 2 scoring D's have played between 7-14 more games)

Out of all the players on Frolunda, all but 2 players that have more then 5 goals this season are 29 or older (Fridberg, 11 g, 27 years old), Raymond (6 g, 18 years old) They have 8 games left in the season before the playoffs start.

I can't think of two more important things than Norlinder and Caufield's development right now.

Harris, as well. Mainly because all signs point to Harris and Caufield joining the pro ranks after this NCAA season.

Norlinder, who as you say, his development is very important, still has another year in Sweden before he can come over to North America.

An internal solution to the powerplay and the mobility of the defense is really important.

not the best game from Tuch or BU, he didn't play bad, just wasn't overly involved. no pts, -1. I put the goal against, it's the first clip as it's off the face-off, he goes out to the point to block but is too late.
